SH 71 Toll Lanes- TxDOT | Austin, TX
Design Manager for this $100M Design-Build project located in front of the Austin-Bergstrom Int’l Airport. The scope of work included the construction of toll lanes with grade-separated crossings, multi-level interchange, general purpose lanes, ramps,  intersection improvements & 5 miles of a Shared Use Path (SUP). The project converted the rural section of SH 71 to an urban section and included ROW acquisition, utility accommodations, utility relocations, proposed bridges, retaining walls, storm sewers, open ditches, proposed cross culverts and culvert extensions. Mr. Zamora developed and implemented a Project Plan which included a communications and coordination plan, quality control plan, document controls plan, and planned schedule. He successfully managed the design team including roadway, drainage, structural, public and private utilities, SW3P, TCP, signing, striping, illumination, signals, and civil work for ITS and tolling infrastructure and communications hardware.

Ingram Road Reconstruction | City of San Antonio, TX                        Lead Roadway Engineer for 4,300 LF of street reconstruction and associated drainage improvements, which included new full depth pavement section, curbs, sidewalk, driveway approaches, bike lanes, expanded center turn lanes, intersections, signals, drainage structures, LID features, improved landscaping and trees, and ADA facilities throughout the project.

Bulverde Road Reconstruction and Expansion | Bexar County, TX Roadway Engineer for the widening and reconstruction of a 2-lane roadway to a curb and gutter, 4-lane section with turn lanes and shoulders. The project included preparation of a schematic, typical sections, traffic control plans (TCP), and roadway P&Ps. The project accommodates pedestrians with a sidewalk along the east side of the roadway and bicyclists within the shoulders.

CoSA IMP On-Call Services for Intersection Upgrades | San Antonio, TX Roadway Engineer for 10 intersection upgrades that added various traffic operation improvements including adding left-turn lanes, right-turn lanes and signal modifications.
